The Farnsworth House.
Designed and constructed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe between 1946 and 1951, the Farnsworth House is a symbol of modernist architecture and a National Historic Landmark. Located alongside the serene Fox River in rural Illinois, this architectural masterpiece was initially intended as a weekend retreat, providing an escape to nature and leisure.
While staying true to the original design and structure of the Farnsworth House, we added our own personal design elements to infuse a unique touch. The house was originally decorated with modern furniture by renowned designers such as Florence Knoll, Jens Risom, Bruno Mathsson, and Franco Albini. In our rendition, we preserved the authenticity of the original furniture set while incorporating our personal design contributions to enhance the visual aspects of the space.
